Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active or eligible to obtain CCC-SLP or SLP-CF licensure in the State of Florida
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school environments
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices for elementary-aged students
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy for individual student needs
- Positive, student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development
- Provide consultation and resources for staff and families to reinforce therapy efforts
- Engage in meetings and professional development activities
This position offers a start date of August 3, 2026, and continues through May 25, 2027. Hours are Monday through Friday, 6:45am to 2:15pm, for a total of 37.5 hours per week. Enjoy weekly pay at a competitive rate of $45 per hour.
