A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Gulf Breeze, FL, serving elementary students in the local school district. This contract position runs from August 12, 2026, through May 25, 2027, requiring an on-site presence and dedication to supporting approximately 45 students within an elementary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s communication needs.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and other activities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP credential and certification (Speech-Language Pathologist license) required.
- Valid and current state licensure for practicing as an SLP in Florida.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
- Ability to develop treatment strategies and communicate effectively with both students and educational teams.
- Compliance with fingerprint clearance and other background checks as mandated (IVP fingerprint card not required).
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours daily).
- School location in Gulf Breeze, FL, with caseload and specific school assignment to be determined.
- On-site presence required during school hours.
