Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA CCC or completion of CFY requirements
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as an SLP in a school setting
- Clinical background in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
- Experience in supervising SLPAs strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing IEP goals
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to K-12 students in accordance with IEPs
- Administer and interpret assessments for student evaluations
- Mentor and supervise two SLPAs, ensuring quality care and professional development
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with teachers, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
