Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in a pediatric and/or school environment preferred
- Ability to supervise and support SLP Assistants (SLPAs)
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations and preparing reports
- Excellent communication and collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations, documenting findings accurately
- Oversee and mentor two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, providing guidance and feedback
- Foster a nurturing learning atmosphere, adapting activities to diverse student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning interdisciplinary supports
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress notes
- Collaborate with parents and school staff to support student growth
