This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking to provide impactful services within an elementary school setting in Greenwood, SC. This contract position will last for the remainder of the school year and offers flexibility in scheduling, accommodating both part-time and near full-time arrangements.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload that remains under the state maximum of 60 students. The role primarily focuses on elementary students but may also involve working across one or two elementary schools, preschool daycares, and delivering itinerant services as needed. You will have the chance to assess, develop, and implement individualized speech and language intervention plans that support student communication goals.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP certification and experience working in school-based settings
- Proven ability to manage caseloads effectively while maintaining high-quality therapy services
- Comfort with flexible scheduling and providing services in multiple educational environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and school staff
- Experience in early childhood and elementary-level speech and language intervention preferred
Location: Greenwood, SC
Schedule: Flexible, ideally 3 to 5 days per week, up to 7.5 hours per day, with a total workweek under 37.5 hours
