Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting is an advantage but not required
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation as required by school policies and regulations
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
