School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Greenwood, Indiana

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist eager to support students from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade. This maternity leave assignment runs from May 1st, 2026 through December 18th, 2026, providing valuable services to a diverse caseload of 45–60 students. In this role, you'll collaborate with both General Education and Essential Skills learners to help them reach their communication goals. While full-time scheduling (35–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday) is preferred, there is some flexibility for experienced part-time professionals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license
- Experience with school-based services for elementary and PreK students
- Skilled in delivering direct and indirect therapy, completing paperwork, service documentation, evaluations, and managing relevant billing
- Comfortable supporting both general and special education populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy to K–6 and PreK students
- Conducting initial/reevaluation assessments as needed
- Managing a well-organized caseload while working closely with teaching staff, families, and support teams
- Completing necessary documentation, including service logs, IEP paperwork, evaluation reports, and billing records
- Attending team meetings and collaborating to implement IEP goals
- Providing both direct and consultative services to meet student needs
