Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract speech-language pathologist for a maternity leave coverage with additional part-time potential through spring. In this role, you'll provide services in a dynamic school environment serving approximately 75 students from kindergarten through eighth grade. The initial full-time assignment runs from November to February, with a flexible transition to part-time (15–20 hours per week) thereafter. Flexible scheduling after February is open for discussion, allowing you to tailor your work around your needs while still making a positive impact.
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Indiana SLP license with CCCs
- Open to licensed new graduates eager to grow their experience
- Experience in school settings and comfort working with a diverse caseload
- Strong skills in evaluation, speech and language therapy, and leading collaborative efforts
- Ability to manage/educate on AAC systems
- Excellent communication with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams
- Innovative approach for teletherapy, with a collaborative building-based plan
How You’ll Make a Difference:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech & language therapy services
- Complete comprehensive evaluations for students K–8
- Maintain clear, supportive communication with families and school teams
- Guide and collaborate with teaching staff on communication strategies
- Oversee and provide training concerning AAC devices and usage
- Organize and prioritize tasks for efficient case management across one school site
