Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Tipp City, Ohio

This part-time leave coverage position spans three days per week, with full-time daily hours (7.5-hour days), starting August 28, 2026. As an onsite-only provider, you'll play an essential role in supporting diverse learners and collaborating with educators and families.
Ideal candidates bring a strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology and are passionate about fostering communication growth in school environments.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Ohio state licensure
- Ohio Department of Education teaching certification
- Clinical Fellowship (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) considered a plus
- Experience with pediatric and school-based SLP services, including assessment and treatment planning
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, and school staff
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings, as well as diagnostic evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s specific needs
- Deliver dynamic therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication skills
- Provide support and training for teachers, staff, and families to generalize communication skills in educational settings
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
