A school-based opportunity is available for three Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide direct and indirect services within a structured, supportive environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language therapy to students, with a balanced workload between therapy, documentation, and compliance activities.
Positions Offered:
- 2 Full-Time Onsite (40 hours/week)
- 1 Full-Time Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days virtual)
Location: Greenville, GA (Travel opportunity within the school setting)
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: Direct therapy sessions, student support, and collaborative team meetings
- Friday: Dedicated to documentation, Medicaid billing, and compliance tasks
- Hybrid schedule includes teletherapy and remote work as appropriate
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and required service times
- Manage caseloads efficiently to ensure each student receives appropriate support
- Deliver makeup sessions as necessary to maintain service compliance
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation fulfilling district, state, and Medicaid standards
- Support billing accuracy by aligning documented services with billed time
- Complete indirect services such as planning, collaboration, and reporting within the weekly hours
- Ensure readiness for audits through consistent, compliant record-keeping
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification CCC-SLP or eligibility (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing and educational compliance regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills to maintain detailed records and collaborate effectively
