Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure, or eligibility, as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Experience in school-based settings highly preferred
- Background in pediatric SLP services across various age groups and developmental needs
- Proficiency and comfort with teletherapy platforms and tools (for remote opportunities)
- Effective communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and student-centered interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Deliver therapy sessions either onsite or virtually, maintaining high engagement and therapeutic effectiveness
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to foster student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with district and legal standards
- Monitor student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and provide recommendations
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to school SLP, teletherapy, and best practices
