Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Greenfield, Indiana
Step into a vital role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, full-school-year contract near Greenfield, IN. In this position, you’ll work onsite, collaborating with school teams to empower young learners and help them achieve their communication goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field
- Current or eligible state licensure for SLPs
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Familiarity with pediatric populations, particularly elementary school-aged children
- Experience with school-based services and IEP processes preferred
- Comfort with healthcare and educational documentation standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Some teletherapy experience is helpful, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements
- Deliver direct therapy services onsite to students, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as necessary
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other school staff to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all services and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and compliance with state and federal guidelines
