Speech Language Pathologist in New Castle, IN

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are also welcome
- Recent school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy planning skills
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication skills in accordance with IEPs and school policies
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ specific needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Track goals, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct and consultative services to a diverse caseload, ensuring each child receives the support they need to achieve academic and social success
