What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP in school settings
- Proven experience in a school environment, working with diverse age groups
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Your responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 38-40 students across various grade levels
- Conduct assessments, maintain thorough and timely evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure strategies are integrated into the classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and student goal development
- Maintain detailed and compliant records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Offer guidance and resources to support teachers and families in fostering students’ communication skills
