Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students by providing essential speech-language pathology services in a supportive and collaborative educational environment. We're seeking dedicated professionals for full-time contract positions serving diverse student populations for the 2026-2027 school year. Orientation will take place August 12th–14th, with four openings available for this rewarding role.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois SLP license (must provide verification)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois (must provide verification)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, though not required
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Committed to evidence-based practice and culturally responsive care
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments, therapy, and consultation for a K-12 caseload (student populations and grade levels to be determined)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families to support student progress
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) per state and federal guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Participate in eligibility meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in all interactions
