Make a meaningful impact in early childhood education by providing speech-language pathology services to young learners. This contract, part-time opportunity focuses on supporting K-2 students within the Gages Lake area. You’ll play a vital role in fostering communication skills and confidence in a small, manageable caseload.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois SLP license and Professional Educator License (PEL) required; verification available through state resources
- SLP-CCC preferred, but a strong Clinical Fellow (CF) will be considered
- Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
- Comfortable working exclusively onsite
- Commitment to participate in new hire orientation August 12-14
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to a caseload of nine K-2 students, targeting individual needs and IEP goals
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and family members for optimal student outcomes
- Complete timely documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for students
