Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Florida Department of Health is required.
- Experience or strong interest in working with students from elementary through high school age groups (K-12).
- Demonstrated ability to provide both direct speech services and comprehensive evaluations.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families.
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to K-12 students, adapting methods to meet individual needs.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and contribute to IEP planning and implementation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across different school campuses.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Provide input and support in intervention planning to maximize student success.
Available Locations and Scheduling:
- Palmetto Ridge High School: 3 days per week
- Pinecrest Elementary in Immokalee: 1 day
- Lake Trafford in Immokalee: 1 day
- Highlands Elementary in Immokalee: 1 to 5 days
- Golden Terrace in Golden Gate City: 2 to 3 days
Assignments can be combined to create a full-time equivalent schedule that matches your availability and preference.
