Speech and Language Pathologist - Yorktown, VA

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility
- Current or pending SLP-CCC, or completion of clinical fellowship (CFY)
- Comfortable working onsite within a school setting
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Passion for helping children succeed both academically and socially
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy for students with a variety of needs, ages, and abilities
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Design and implement individualized and group intervention plans
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and communicate regularly with educational staff and families
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and members of the school support team
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student plans
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere for all students
