Middle School Elementary Speech Language Pathologist in Glendale, CA
Step into a dynamic opportunity to support students from Transitional Kindergarten through 6th grade across two welcoming school environments. This full-time, contract role enables you to provide direct speech-language services to a diverse elementary and Pre K population, including those with mild articulation challenges, mild-to-moderate language deficits, and some AAC needs. Your schedule will be split between two campuses—two days at one site (7:45am to 3:15pm) and three days at another (8:15am to 3:45pm)—offering variety in your weekly routine.
Begin as soon as you’re ready and choose the assignment length that fits your lifestyle. Complete just the current academic year through June 11, continue into the summer ESY session from June 17 to July 17, or extend your impact by staying for the next school year beginning August 5 for new team members.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with elementary (TK-6) and/or Pre K students
- Familiarity with mild articulation and AAC as well as language disabilities
- Ability to manage a caseload of diverse learners across multiple sites
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language interventions for students with varied needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and support staff
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Maintain documentation and track student progress
- Participate in meetings and communicate progress with caregivers
