Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience supervising SLPAs is required
- Demonstrated success working in a school-based setting
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly valued, supporting a diverse student population
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for K-5 students with a range of communication needs
- Supervise, mentor, and support SLPAs, ensuring the highest quality of care and compliance with best practices
- Conduct assessments, deliver therapy sessions, and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate effectively with educators, specialists, and families to foster student growth
- Utilize culturally responsive approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
