Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- Experience working with pediatric populations, including PreK through 8th grade students
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to supervise SLPAs per state and ASHA regulations
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students from PreK through 8th grade, both in groups and individually
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Document student progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with all regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in accordance with professional standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development
