Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience working with school-aged children highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) addressing students’ speech and language needs
- Provide therapy services, adapting approaches to meet diverse student goals
- Consult with educators and families to integrate strategies both in and out of the classroom
- Maintain up-to-date student documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all relevant regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school community
