Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Maryland, plus ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligibility)
- Prior experience with school-based or pediatric therapy is a strong advantage
- Solid understanding of IEP development, documentation, and related compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and culturally-responsive care
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students as needed
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with students’ IEPs
- Deliver engaging, goal-focused therapy sessions in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal student outcomes
- Track progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
- Support inclusive practices and provide consultative services to staff and families as appropriate
