Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required
- Active Virginia SLP license in good standing
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Ability to manage dynamic caseloads across different age groups
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned students
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with SLPAs, teachers, facilitators, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student progress reviews
- Adapt and modify therapy strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs
