Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience working with school-aged children or preschoolers strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility for rural SLPs to travel between multiple school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver individualized speech and language services for assigned caseloads
- Develop, implement, and monitor progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' educational goals
- Provide direct intervention in individual and small group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and review processes
- For the rural SLP opening: manage a travel schedule to cover several rural schools, ensuring continuity of services
- For the preschool SLP opening: provide focused support at a single location, specializing in early childhood development
