This contract-based role is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about empowering children in a supportive educational environment. The schedule is conveniently set, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, allowing for a balanced workday and meaningful client interactions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC), Clinical Fellow Year (CFY), or eligibility for either
- Experience in working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational or school settings
- Strong assessment, intervention, and report-writing skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams
- Familiarity with IEPs and documentation required for school-based services
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to children using individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Screen, assess, and develop intervention plans tailored for students aged preschool through elementary
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of therapy, progress reports, and required compliance documentation
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere
