Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school-based setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting each child’s goals and needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services—both individual and group
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain timely records
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent/teacher conferences, and ongoing staff collaboration
- Provide guidance and education to students, families, and educators regarding communication strategies
- Remain current with best practices and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
