School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Richmond, Texas

This contract opportunity for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) is ideal for those committed to excellence in school-based speech services. Based near Richmond, Texas, you'll primarily support students across 2-3 school sites, with your main office centrally located for team collaboration and easy access to resources. The district employs a modern workload approach, emphasizing quality of service as well as manageable demands.
In this role, you will likely supervise one SLPA, using your expertise to provide valuable mentorship and guidance. The district offers forward-thinking flexibility: you are guaranteed at least one remote day per week and may be considered for additional remote work if it aligns with the district’s needs and your experience. This long-term assignment runs through the end of May 2027, providing stability while you gain rich, varied experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required)
- Experience (or strong interest) in K-12 school settings
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience or readiness to supervise an SLPA
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students at multiple campuses
- Implement IEPs and participate in IEP meetings
- Conduct evaluations and progress monitoring
- Supervise and mentor assigned SLPA
- Collaborate with educators and families, supporting student success
