Speech Therapist in Gastonia, NC
This opportunity seeks a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students within a school setting in Gastonia, NC. Key Qualifications:
- Current North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services
- Familiarity with clinical fellowship year (CFY) requirements is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations, therapy, and interventions to support student communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and educational teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive communication strategies
