What You'll Bring:
- Valid SLP license in the state of Indiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in school-based SLP settings is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations and adapting strategies to meet their needs
- Please note: SLPA applications are not being considered at this time
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech/language therapy to student caseloads ranging from preschool through middle school, depending on placement
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with various speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other educators and specialists
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per state and school guidelines
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff to foster progress and engagement
- Supervision of SLPAs may be available/required where licensure allows
There are multiple site options, offering flexibility in age group focus and caseloads. Scheduling is 7 hours per day, with flexibility and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Support from Speech-Language Assistants may be available depending on assignment and eligibility.
