Qualifications & Background
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license (or eligibility) for SLP in Indiana
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in an educational setting strongly valued
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Role Highlights & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to diverse caseloads (ranging from 70–100 students)
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and caregivers
- Collect data and document student progress in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Potential for SLA support, depending on site and licensure eligibility
Location & Schedule Flexibility
- Choose between working at Fegley Intermediate & Crisman Elementary with a larger caseload, or focus on early learners at Porter Lakes Elementary, or split time between elementary and middle grades at multiple nearby campuses
- 7 hours per day, with flexible scheduling options and a 30-minute unpaid lunch
