The first SLP will manage caseloads across one elementary and one middle school building, serving a diverse group of students ranging from early childhood through adolescence. The second SLP will focus their services on two middle school buildings, providing targeted support to students with communication needs. Caseload sizes for both positions are expected to range between 45 and 55 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
- Deliver tailored therapy sessions that address communication goals for elementary and middle school populations.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC certification preferred).
- Experience working within school environments, particularly at elementary and middle school levels.
- Ability to manage caseloads of 45-55 students.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
