Ideal candidates bring:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist license
- CCC-SLP credentials
- Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
- Confidence in managing a moderate caseload (60-65 students)
- Willingness and ability to supervise SLPAs
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A collaborative, student-focused approach
- Bilingual proficiency a plus, but not required
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assessing and developing individualized treatment plans for students
- Providing direct therapy and intervention services onsite
- Maintaining thorough documentation of evaluations and progress
- Supervising and mentoring SLPAs to ensure quality care
- Working closely with educators, families, and support staff
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multi-disciplinary teams
