Step into an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in educational settings as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! This contract position offers a chance to contribute to student success and enhance communication skills within diverse school environments. The assignment begins on August 25th, 2026, and extends through June 16th, 2027. Candidates will work on-site, engaging with students across various age ranges with details around caseload and school assignments to be determined as placement progresses.
Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Maryland (MD)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) considered with required supervision already arranged
- Prior school-based experience is valuable, but passionate new graduates are welcome to apply
- Flexibility to travel within multiple school sites as needed
- Ability to provide copies of licensure for credentialing
- Commitment to the full 35-hour weekly schedule during the school year
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group therapeutic SLP services to students, supporting their communication and language development
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and track student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to support each student’s needs
- Maintain documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
