School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Fairport, New York

Qualified candidates will hold or be eligible for their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, or may be completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Extensive experience working in schools with diverse populations is desirable, and expertise with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is highly valued.
Key Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related discipline
• Active or eligible SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY licensure
• Familiarity with school environments and caseloads spanning K-21 ages
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• AAC training or hands-on experience is especially sought
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and diverse service teams
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Employ evidence-based interventions and progress monitoring
• Consult with teachers and families for optimal student outcomes
• Maintain thorough case notes and compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school community
