Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Valid Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Arizona Educator Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Previous experience in a school-based setting (preferred)
- Ability to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and work with multi-disciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans
- Provide direct intervention services for students across PreK-8th grades
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Maintain accurate therapy notes and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff collaboration
- Educate students, teachers, and caregivers about communication strategies and progress
