Empower students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist! Work 35 hours each week serving high school and post-secondary learners, where your expertise fosters genuine progress in communication, academic success, and social interaction.
Step into a dynamic educational setting, collaborating closely on a shared caseload with a supportive team of seven other experienced SLPs. Your input will be valued as you work together to implement IEPs, monitor progress, and celebrate student growth both individually and as a group.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Competency with individualized goal setting, progress tracking, and IEP documentation
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration with staff and parents
- Effective communicator and team player eager to share strategies and support colleagues
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse high school/post-secondary caseload
- Participate in evaluations, develop treatment plans, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Utilize evidence-based practices to drive measurable improvements for students
- Foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere for students with varying communication needs
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, staff, and other SLPs to ensure successful outcomes
