Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active or eligible Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in an elementary setting, is highly valued
- Knowledge of current assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education procedures
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech/language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with teachers and support staff
- Track progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adjust interventions as necessary
- Provide guidance and resources to families to support student progress at home
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
