ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based contract in Fredericksburg, Virginia! 🎒 We welcome experienced CCC-SLPs as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs) looking for strong supervision, mentorship, and support! 🌟
Position Details 📋
- ⏰ Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- 📚 Caseload: K–12th Grade
- 🏫 Setting: On-site school district
Key Responsibilities ✏
- 📝 Conduct evaluations, assessments, and write comprehensive reports for K–12 students.
- 🎯 Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's communication needs.
- 🗣 Provide direct speech and language therapy to individuals and small groups.
- 🤝 Collaborate with teachers, parents, special education teams, and district staff.
- 📊 Track student progress, manage documentation, and actively participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications 🎓
- 📜 Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
- 💳 Active or pending Virginia SLP License (and VA Department of Education certification, if required by district).
- ⭐ ASHA CCCs preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are strongly encouraged to apply!
- 🎒 Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
