School Speech and Language Pathologist | Fairfax, Virginia
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services across multiple educational and home settings in Northern Virginia, supporting students in a variety of environments. This contract position offers an opportunity to work directly with children in a school and home setting, fostering communication development for elementary-aged students.
Location: Fairfax, VA (Northern Virginia, approximately 45 minutes south of Washington, DC)

Schedule: Part-Time, 10-15 hours per week
Duration: ASAP through May 29, 2026
Settings: On-site only; no virtual options available
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to a 4th-grade student within the home environment
- Provide therapy in a school setting for a 2nd-grade student
- Potentially offer support to two students at a private day school while a permanent therapist is identified
- Collaborate with educators, families, and private school staff to support individualized communication goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by regulatory and school standards
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active Virginia license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is mandatory
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, ideally within school and home-based settings
- Ability to pass the Virginia Department of Social Services background check promptly upon hire
- Completion of a TB test in compliance with Virginia state requirements
- Effective communication and organizational skills suitable for managing a varied caseload
