This assignment runs from August 24, 2026, to November 6, 2026, and offers a consistent weekday schedule of 40 hours across 5 days per week. You’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, helping children with mild to severe needs including articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social-pragmatic communication, and high-tech AAC.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in Colorado (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Prior experience working with K-5 student populations preferred
- Proficient in assessing and providing interventions for articulation, language disorders, AAC devices, and fluency
- Comfortable building relationships with students, teachers, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy for students with a range of abilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and design individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapy for articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, social-pragmatic skills, and augmentative communication
- Collaborate with general and special education teams to support student success
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for evaluations, progress notes, and IEPs
- Communicate progress and recommendations to team members and families
