Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Demonstrated expertise working with pediatric and elementary-age populations
- Experience in both healthcare and educational settings is valued
- Competency in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct intervention services onsite, adapting strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Engage in meaningful communication with families, teachers, and school staff to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insightfully to the development and review process
