Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLP-CCC applicants) or Associate’s/Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting (for SLPA applicants)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
- Prior experience with school-based caseloads, ideally with middle or high school students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to work with diverse student populations and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning
- Deliver both direct and consultative services in individual and group settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and team conferences as needed
- Foster an encouraging environment that promotes student growth and academic engagement
