This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). You’ll have the chance to work with a diverse elementary caseload, using your expertise to empower students and give them the tools they need to thrive.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Solid understanding of a variety of communication disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with children, educators, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for elementary students
- Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student goals
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and report on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, engaging school culture
