This is a full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 school year, with a commitment of up to 37.5 hours per week, ensuring dedicated support to young learners. The assignment is based at a single school location—either the elementary level or a specialized early learning campus—making it easy to build rapport and see the progress of your caseload.
Your role will involve collaborating with dedicated school teams, assessing students’ needs, and providing targeted therapy to help children reach their fullest communication potential. The specific age group and caseload will be discussed during the interview, ensuring the right fit for your expertise.
Qualifications and Desired Background:
- Valid Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License is required
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
- Willingness to work exclusively onsite (remote/virtual is not an option)
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach
- Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including fingerprints (previous prints through AHCA Clearinghouse may be accepted) and obtaining a JLA badge

- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in a school-based setting
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and communicate progress to families and staff
