Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Florida SLP License required
- School-based experience preferred, but strong CFs may be considered if mentorship is available
- Must meet district credentialing requirements, including fingerprint clearance (AHCA transfers possible)
- Passion for working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct therapy services to assigned caseload(s)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with on-site SLPs, teachers, families, and support staff
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and support students during staff absences, including maternity leaves
- Adapt support as needed in specialized (InD, ASD, EBD units) or general education settings
