School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Fort Pierce, Florida

Both positions align with maternity leave coverage—one at a K-8 school with an inclusive caseload featuring multiple ASD units, and the other at a high school, complete with on-site support from a SLPA. Each SLP will have a dedicated campus, allowing for focused engagement and continuity of care with students and staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Florida SLP license (CCC required)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Comfortable managing diverse caseloads across K-8 or high school age groups
- Familiarity with ASD populations and inclusion settings is a plus
- Ability to meet district credentialing and fingerprint requirements (expedited through the AHCA Clearinghouse for those previously printed)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services according to IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation efficiently
- Engage in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning
- Support transition and coverage needs during maternity leave assignments
Assignment Details:
- 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Single school per assignment for uninterrupted service delivery
- On-site roles beginning in September or October (depending on coverage dates)
