Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current active Florida SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Willingness to complete district-required fingerprinting (easy transfer if previously cleared through ACHA Clearinghouse)
- Strong organizational skills and the confidence to serve as the only on-site SLP
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students ranging from Pre-K to 8th grade in a PK Resource setting
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ communication development and educational progress
- Develop, implement, and periodically update IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
