School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Stuart, Florida

Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist ready for an on-site, school-based contract opportunity on Florida’s beautiful southeast coast. This position offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload across various school settings, including K-8 and high school campuses. Flexible assignments (full-time or part-time) are available, with roles primarily focused in Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce. Most assignments will be with just 1–2 schools, fostering strong relationships with students and education teams.
Start your school year August 5, 2026, and make a meaningful difference through June 1, 2027, with supportive colleagues and engaging student groups ranging from early childhood to high school, including specialized ASD, VE, and EBD units. Compensation for this contract is competitive and reflects your level of experience.
Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology; valid Florida SLP license (or eligibility)
- Preference for candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- SLPA candidates considered (must have on-site supervisor in place)
- Prior school-based SLP experience is highly desirable
- Ability to provide direct and consultative services for a range of student needs
- Current fingerprinting credentials or ability to complete requirement promptly
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide direct therapy services to students (PK–12) as assigned
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement tailored student IEPs and intervention plans
- Collaborate with fellow SLPs, teachers, and families to ensure comprehensive support
- Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and participate in team meetings
