School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Forsyth, Illinois

Two dedicated SLP professionals will collaborate with school staff to provide exceptional speech and language services throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Illinois SLP license and appropriate certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs are considered
- Previous school-based experience or a strong interest in working in educational settings
- Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and data-driven intervention
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering positive student outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a diverse student population
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, working closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely progress reports
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Support students’ social, academic, and communication skills to maximize their educational experiences
