School Based Speech Language Pathologist Within Forsyth, Georgia
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – FORSYTH, GEORGIA
Location: Forsyth, Georgia
Assignment Dates: August 3, 2026 – May 21, 2027
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech-language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to K–12 students within Forsyth, Georgia, during the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting.
Assignments will be determined based on district needs, clinician experience, and overall fit to ensure the best outcomes for students and staff.
Caseload Information
- K–12 student population
- Caseload and school assignments will be discussed during the interview process
- Caseload size is currently to be determined
- Caseloads vary based on grade level and student needs
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field
- Current professional credentials and certifications required to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathology license
- Previous school-based experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations, assessments, and screenings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
- Participate in meetings, including IEP and eligibility meetings
Screening & Credentialing Requirements
- Successful completion of all district onboarding requirements
- Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the district and state
- Internal eligibility interview
